Thank you for supporting our PTSA! Memberships continue to come in.

This week we are having a membership contest. Everyone that signs up by Sept. 30 will be entered in the PTSA Membership Drive giveaway for a chance to win a $25 gift card. The more memberships the bigger the chances of winning! Please continue to return the Back-to-School envelopes to the school office with your dues or pay online via Membership Toolkit. We appreciate all of you for your support!

The Spirit Items Committee was busy last week distributing orders. We really appreciate those that were able to come and help our Chair Emily Nickelson fulfilling and delivering order to our students. The store will reopen soon with new items!

I would also like to thank our community partners. It’s not too late to sign up to be a PTSA sponsor. You will start seeing their signs on the school fence soon. We would love for you to spread the word to any businesses that may be interested in being one of our community partners. The sponsorship levels and sponsorship form are explained in this letter.

Don’t forget to invite any incoming 6th graders to the Stallion Showcase on Oct. 3. We can’t wait to welcome our future Stallions!

Family Income Survey 2024

Caddo Public Schools is seeking your help to ensure we have the most accurate information regarding the students we serve. Completing this survey will confirm your child’s school receives the full amount of federal and state funding and makes sure your child receives all the educational services and programs they are entitled to receive. Because we are a district that provides free breakfast and lunch to all students, we have not captured some critical information that is used by federal and state agencies to provide schools with funding based on family income. Data collected is confidential and used only to determine the school’s eligibility for federal and state programs. If your student or household is currently receiving SNAP, TANF, Medicaid or Disaster SNAP, completion of this survey is not necessary. If you have any questions, please contact your school for more information.

Volunteers needed: Stallion Showcase

Teachers will work a long day on Stallion Showcase. Help us us feed them dinner by making a donation! You can Venmo donations to Crystal Tuey @Crystal-Tuey & Sign up under "Faculty and Staff Lunch Committee" by clicking on the image below!

Stallions Serve: Help needed!

If your child is looking to serve, they may write inspirational notes of encouragement to kids entering foster care in Louisiana. Inspirational notes help lift the spirits of another kid in a time of overwhelming stress. If your student writes 5 notes, they can receive 1 service credit hour. There will be a drop off for notes in the office and Stallions Serve chair Jen Veluvolu will collect them every Friday. If your child needs a service hour form signed, please leave the form attached to their notes and she will return the form to the box on Monday for your student to pickup. The inspirational notes can be for any age. The student may sign their first name (i.e. Mary) without their school name (CMM) OR sign their school name (CMM), but omit their first name (i.e. Mary).

Stallions Serve is also looking for help watering the school's potted plants! If you child is interested in volunteering before school, please sign up below. Watering will also earn one credit hour. You may drop your student between 7-7:25am (to beat the moving carpool line). They should make their way to the office to obtain the watering supplies. If dropping off, please enter the main parking lot "exit" driveway to get around the carpool line. Remember to use caution because this will be going against traffic leaving the parking lot. CMM Softball

CMM Softball opened their season with a 17-3 win against Broadmoor. They will take on Fair Park on Monday and Youree on Thursday. Come cheer on your Stallions! Note the time and place below. Tickets can be purchased on Local Level!

CMM Football

CMM's next game will be Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Byrd. 7th grade game starts at 6:30, with the 8th grade game immediately following. Tickets available on local level. All students get in Free!!

CMM Volleyball

We had a great turnout for the first CMM home volleyball game!! The 6/7 grade team took a few hard-fought losses but your 8th grade Lady Stallions finished the night with two wins, taking the Benton Tigers to 25-23 and 25-13 sets!!!! Thanks to all who helped make this event possible!

Special thanks to the sweet football team and student section who came before and after practice to cheer the girls on!!! They definitely made a LOUD presence cheering, it was great to see their support!
